Due to the closure of the Windsor Street studios our open sessions have migrated to other venues. The majority of the sessions will now be held at the Riverside Art Centre in Sunbury:

Note, the studio is across a courtyard via an alleyway to the right of the main entrance in a separate building with a green door with a sign “Riverside Craft Centre”. The studio is on the first floor to the left of the staircase. Toilets are on the ground floor to the right of the entrance.

I am planning a plein air painting day at Hatchgate farm on Thursday 18th June from 10am to 1pm and 2pm to 4pm.

I have enough room for about 12 artists, so please email me if you would like to paint with us.

There are many subjects to paint, the garden is quite colourful in June, there are also 2 ponies, fields and trees, a pond or the River Bourne.

Please bring a seat, easel and materials. If it is rainy we can paint in a stable or tie up area.

As last time if you would like to stay for the whole day please bring a packed lunch , I will provide tea and coffee andbiscuits at a charge of £1 each for the day.

Please let me know if you will be coming for half a day or the whole day.

Nicky Browne”s etching workshops continue. To book your place please contact Nicky on 020 8979 0548 or at nicky.browne@btinternet.com. Future dates are 14th March, 11th April, 23rd May and 13th June.

There will be no printing on Friday 3rd April as it is Good Friday.

We have space on Fridays for more people – why not come along and try your hand at monoprinting. Even if you haven’t done it before, we have all the materials and equipment necessary and can help you get started. If you attend Nicky’s etching classes you can come on a Friday to make prints from your plates. We also have the facility to print small linocuts.

All-day portrait drawing is on the first Saturday of the month, and all-day life drawing on the third Saturday of the month. Please contact Nigel John on 01483 725891 or nigeljohn@zoho.com to book your place. Pre-booking is needed to ensure that we do not exceed the room capacity. Morning only and afternoon only slots can also be booked subject to the capacity constraint.
